Pathos AI Closes $237M Series E at $3B Valuation
AI drug-development platform Pathos AI has closed a $237 million Series E led by Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), valuing the company at roughly $3 billion. That is nearly double the $1.6 billion valuation from its May 2025 round.
BMS gets three-year exclusive access to Pathos Foundry across its neuroscience pipeline. A separate five-year, $55 million data license with Tempus AI supports the effort, starting with Alzheimer’s disease.
Proceeds will fund Foundry platform expansion and clinical work on oncology candidates including JSKN016.
Cambricon Q3 Profit Soars 148% While Revenue Misses Estimates
Chinese AI chip maker Cambricon reported third-quarter results showing net profit of roughly 1.4 billion yuan (~$210 million), up 147.7 percent year over year. Revenue doubled to 3.53 billion yuan yet fell well short of the 6.26 billion yuan analysts expected.
Bloomberg attributes the shortfall to persistent manufacturing constraints and memory chip shortages. Nine-month cumulative revenue reached 9.526 billion yuan (+106.76%) with profit at 3.715 billion yuan (+131.49%).
Clients include DeepSeek and Moonshot. Morgan Stanley estimates Cambricon holds roughly 14 percent of China’s AI chip market, second only to Huawei. Demand is growing as Nvidia export restrictions tighten, though inventory and advance-payment obligations are rising in parallel.
