Career Counseling — BOSI for adults and teams
What changes when the same brain-cognition assessment is applied to working adults and companies instead of students. Career design, hiring, team composition, and finding a co-founder.
Career Counseling is BOSI packaged for adults and organizations. The assessment engine is the same one behind Edu Counseling, but the question it answers is different. Students are asked how should I study. Working adults and teams are asked what work should I do, and with whom.
One axis changes
Three of the four areas BOSI reads stay the same. The matching axis is what moves.

It is the difference between reading the same result for which major fits and which role fits. People matching shifts its subject too: for a student it covers friendships and the relationship with parents; for an adult it covers colleagues and co-founders.
The assessment
97 multiple-choice items, about 10 minutes. Each item has a 30-minute selection limit; exceeding it restarts the assessment.
That differs from Edu Counseling’s 180 items and roughly 15 minutes. The two products use different item sets.
Four uses
Not being limited to individual use is the biggest departure from Edu Counseling.
Career and job planning. Connects innate aptitude with a current field of study to identify what still needs filling in. Rather than telling someone with a declared major to start over, it asks what to add from where they are.
Hiring. Used to select candidates on latent capability and place them where they fit. For an employer the payoff is less in selection than in placement and reduced attrition.
Team composition. Builds teams whose cognitive styles reinforce rather than grind against each other — People matching extended to the group level.
Founding a company. Which venture fits, and who would make a co-founder you actually work well with.
AI counseling
The failure mode of reading a report alone and shelving it is the same here as with students. Career Counseling adds an AI counseling layer.
